A Flight Attendant - second page
It had been a pleasant evening and the Food consumption aspect of Restauranting dominated while he revealed all he knew so far about what could justify the adrenal dump or ilicit a clean rejection along with several reasons for such. His attentions back to her Room was not asked or called for and she made it to bed for 10:30 after accepting a Glass of Wine as an aperitif. Maybe she'd made a friend or something, turned out that what he was saying involved himself as a Co-worker, a Millionaire or three and a selection of invited Women and a well-hung stud. What was with the location though? Must be something about it, I mean why not just head for the Ocean and keep a listen out to the Weather Channel.
Cassy had the chance to get some girl-friend time over the next few days, the schedule remained silent and a final yay or nay could take a week with all the arrangement that might be needed for a Yacht break. The two friends met at an Athletic Club in the Cafe next to the Bar, a Hotel was next door, but this would be just chatting and gossiping along with a healthy financial conflab about the rising cost of Bras and fitting them. 'There's a good chance I'm getting a Tit-lift this year, I'm nearly there on the total required.'
'I could help out.' Cassy offered.
'Don't need it, I'm very, very nearly there and it couldn't be brought any closer. What about you?'
'I have been so busy, Pregnancy is something that weighs in my Mind as far as anything Medical goes; a bigger Clit would be my preference over a Boob thing.'
'Bit of an Injection.'
'So I understand, I'll be unconscious and not care really.' Cassy realized her voice had become more forceful with her friend than before.
'I'm leaving you early, I have the aforementioned Boyfriend.'
'Well, I'm getting into this Gym a few feet away if they'll have me.'
It was good for both to catch up, but they clearly were different people now and the meeting only offered more impetus to run a bit harder and raise the weights a little quicker. The extra Oxygen that she now enjoyed and the exhilaration of exercise made all this more enjoyable than any 'gassing off', even with an old friend.
Another Video call was required, this time with a handler from 'Special Section'. 'Cass, I've told these people that you're available for at most 2 weeks.'
This was on the super secure Video line that was available on her Laptop. She listened to him and said, 'Seems plenty of time.'
'We'll see how it goes, but how about a different approach, something that could turn out to be more rewarding in terms of safety; yours and the safety of the people who you work with and by extension your Nation.'
She smiled at him, 'Laying it on a bit thick, you can keep speaking.'
'I have someone, a Lesbian who's very involved in opposition. Opposition to just about anything and everything and this is making a real mess. I'm not suggesting anything untoward, but she's not going to be speaking on good terms with any Male that might approach.'
'I'm a reporter in search of an interview?' Cassy was trying to avoid scoffing, but he had asked for it.
'No real cover story, just an introduction through a mutual friend.'
'And the Yacht?' She asked.
'You can have at most 2 weeks there and of course the Phone should work at all times.'
Everything seemed reasonable again, if this amount of ludicrous arrangement could be thought of as approaching reality in any way, shape or form.

Another 2 weeks of Flying as an attendant and re-positioning for the next interlocking change of Transport and Cassy was getting back into the swing of things without the second Job intervening. A Customer boarded and she looked familiar, it was Jane, Paula, Melissa and the flight was New York bound. The buzzer went off for some attention for her seat at the Steward section as soon as the Plane levelled off and Cassy went straight there.
'Hi.' Said the Spy Mistress.
'Hello, thank you; I thought it was you.'
'I'm not in disguise or anything, I am at the New York office for quite a while. Could you come and see me for a few Hours this week?'
'Yes, of course. You're not scheduling or .....'
'I haven't even looked at it, you let me know what you have available and I'll choose; postpone if their's a clash or something.'
'Fine, of course. I'll do that. Would you like something refreshing? The Peanuts are packed Fresh.'
'I'll try a Packet, no hurry.'
Back with the Nuts and Cassy gave a nice Smile while acknowledging the Thank You.
The schedule was not updating while the evening and Cassie preferred to do things on a Desktop now whenever she could, late evening and only one possible option could spare a few Hours in New York which was sent through as an eMail. Looking on the DateDating site and nothing was there that she fancied, her alternative profile which described her as Lesbian did not bring anything that could make for a worthwhile experience and neither did the Profile saying she was Bi-Curious and willing to do threesomes. No immediate response to the eMail and an early night would mean a great Gym session a.m.
Showered after Gym-time left a good couple of Hours and some Computer time allowed for Crypto. study when the reply eMail came in accepting the appointment, no mention was made on the Airline Application Scheduler. Obviously not all, in fact very few people at her normal work were part-time Spies and overly interested Computer Bods could prove to be an extra complication no-one might like to deal with.
Scanning the ID at the front Desk the lift took her to the Reception Desk where a Handshake greeted her by a Man who asked her to follow into a small conference room. He pulled a Chair and asked her to sit, taking a position at the Oval Desk arrangement he smiled and looked.
'We're going for a bit of a more in-depth discussion, a few others will be joining us. I'm up for a Coffee, you?'
'I'll have a Tea a bit later, but I've done all that at the Hotel.'
'Okay', he said. 'Won't be a minute.' Stepping out of the room.
Cassy was about to reach for her Phone on the Table in front when through a different door 4 People streamed in and sat down, only one of these she knew and that was the Spy Mistress.
What seemed to be the main person, a Man, sat directly opposite and spoke first. 'We've cancelled the Yacht venture for this year, it's not a priority project for anyone other than the Agent you met; he can go along with a real hired Party Girl, we're not saying their won't be something like this again next year.'
'We would really like this other thing cleared up, you'd have to be a bit more dowdy, not be so Tech. minded so as to not be suckered into helping out with some Cyber Terrorism.'
'Intriguing.' The man had paused to allow for her to speak.
'This could be a couple of Months upwards, you'll have a Tag so we always know where you are and when we pull you out, this would just be disappearing. These people don't Fly much and if they ever do you'll be unrecognisable.'
'Dowdy?'
'Dowdy, you're a Ticket sales assistant for a Coach company.'
'Hmm.' Cassy was thinking of asking what the reward might be, but living a bit or a lot longer was preferable to alternatives.
'At the end of the current full schedule you've got, I'll give you an address to report to and they'll kit you out and get you to your temporary Flat and so on. We'll do all the surveillance, you just need to be there as a 'known' factor for us and to relax the person, distract from the fact we're upping the surveillance of the organization and taking away some of the disruption; but when we dump out that's the end of things.'
'Prison as a result for this target?'
'We don't know and the Special Forces section we're working with don't either, don't bother guessing might be my view.'
'You're putting over a good picture I should be able to work with.'
The person she met at the Reception Office entered the room with a plain paper file in hand and set it down to Cassy's right.
'We'd like for you to read and sign these papers, if you could.' Said the Man sat opposite.
'Yes, of course.' Cassy did as asked, the Portfolio was not extensive and only took a few minutes and she put the papers back in the file in the same order and left them where she reached for them.
'Thanks for that, just to finish. Although their's extreme Political views we've noticed a tendency toward Social Climbing with these people, making you an attractive sideplay. Okay then we're all set, let us know of any "difficulties" etc.'
Cassy took the hint then and stood up to say her goodbyes.
Turning up as per the schedule each and every shift was as enjoyable as always, but at the end of the week the updated Application showed some slight alterations and then another 2 weeks of normal activity as a Flight Attendant. 'Not Pushy, I am not a Pushy person.' She told herself resolving not to contact anyone about anything much.
A few days off and then another Month of solid working and now 4 clear days loomed, the Phone rang and it was a Philip, Henry, Michael, John. 'You're meeting a Flight Director in his Office at Denver, I'll send information.' Not given chance to speak or question anything the message gave details of Travel with the helpful instruction of "Pack your Waistcoat." The Gun Holster and hence Gun she was trained to use fitted under this Waistcoat very nicely and this particular garment was rarely used as it did not go too well with the Scarf and would not fit into a Purse, obviously.
Landing at Denver, the Luggage came round and she was all set again. The details had come over on the secure application on the Laptop and had to be Decrypted. An external Camera had to be used with this App. as well as the internal one as the information was confidential and classified along with other designations. The Job was acting as Assistant to a Government Flight Director, but the main focus was to be Anti-Terrorist operations around infiltration into the Airways by a Grouping who were now advancing the importation of the Weapons aspect to Terrorism. Initially this was Man to Man marking with the equivalent Job shadowed by someone from the Agency or Army or FBI, but the idea was to take down the whole shibang and collect all the Weapons in a matter of Minutes. Stomach rattling Nerves could have been possible, but were strangely absent and an extra Glass of Milk were called for and an extra Gym session. The 4 clear days might be enough, but the schedule could be ignored for a little while. The Office Door was open and she walked in, 'Hello.' Said the Man.
Cassy placed her little Trolley in the corner and took the invitation to sit down across the Desk from the Vacant seat while a Filing Cabinet occupied the 'Director of Flights' attention in the far Corner. Any new Fact or piece of information could affect the timing from now on, the whole thing could be delayed for Months as the predetermined transgressions had to have happened, the lightly formed Terrorist Grouping would be dictating the time and possibly pace of their own downfall. The Man moved to the Door and another Man entered the room with a trademarked Plastic Bag.
'I have your Weapon here, we're not quite ready to go, but you might as well put it on now. Besides this guy's P.A. you're his Bodyguard as far as I'm concerned and if you don't eliminate a threat to him you'll have me to answer to.'
'No day in Court?' Cassy offered helpfully.
'Nah, don't bother about that I can assure you all that is totally mine. How does that feel?'
'I like it, feels alright. I won't practice now, will I get any warning?'
'You'll be fine.' Said the Flight Man, 'Carry your Laptop around and then you can make the Comms. freeing my Eyes up a bit.'
Juggling. Cassy thought. All this training just to become a professional Juggler. Their could be worse Pay Days for something this easy. He opened the bottom Drawer of the Filing Cabinet and asked Cass. to file her Trolley luggage in there, which she did.
The Flight of most interest was due in within the Hour and they moved now to the main Closed Circuit Security Room keeping Eyes on all the screens for different or suspicious movement. More people were around now moving in and out of Secure areas without ID passes and this made the Security Manager more nervous than normal and he was intent approaching someone for some answers when a Man in Full Camouflage Gear and a Machine Gun entered the Room and stood beside Cassy.
'Anything new?' He asked.
'We're looking mainly at these up to the right, the Gate where this Flight's arriving. Nothing stands out anywhere at the moment. I'm only guessing who our Guys might be down there.' Be helpful, why not?
'If he's not in Green carrying a Rifle I don't know who or where anybody is either. Up 'til just now everyone was looking like a potential Bullet Recipient.'
'Charming.' Said Cassy. 'I was hoping to get picked up, not Shot. Look I put my favourite Footwear on.' Not taking her eyes away from the many Screens.
'Hmm, I've still half a Donkey and a full Field stuck to the bottom of mine.' He said, still scanning from left to right and then top to bottom.
The Flight Director moved to the Door, exiting and heading down toward the Gate followed by Cassy and the Man who had escaped from a Flower Pot. The Plane had landed and was disembarking, Men swarmed around 3 individuals while the Flight Director and Cassy looked on and the man in the Cam. directed his attention to the rest of the space. The suspects in custody were moved off and the attention was now turned to the Luggage coming out of the Hold, down the Stairs the 3 went and the men in Green with Rifles picked out what they wanted while spreading all the other Cases out on the Tarmac. It all turned out to be a successful operation with a Square Pallet that had been waiting in 'Freight' removed by Customs and the Men in Green. Cassy stuck around for the rest of the day before returning her Weapon and making it to the Hotel before the last Gym session available.
A couple of days off and then a few weeks without a squeak from the Agency that was not the Flight Agency, when she was asked to get to a Video Call as soon as she could. 'We've a few Government Flight Directors about the place, their's been some suspicious movement around the Home of one of them, you're flying there tomorrow Afternoon.' The non-repeatable gyst of the conversation might have read if Cassy had taken the time to run an ongoing Diary.
He picked her up from the Airport and drove to the Man's home and the cover story was one of Personal Assistance again, it was certainly a nice place to live with a Pool out the back and extra Office Space for her Laptop; no weapon had arrived for her yet though.
She was about to step through the Kitchen door to join him when a message came in. 'Be a Love for me.' It was the Spy Mistress.
'What the Hell', Cassy thought. He's a nice guy. A few days later and their was less nervousness caused by Sexual frustration. 'Not a bad way to pass the time', she thought, just knowing beyond knowledge that Pregnancy had finally arrived and that if she was correct the resultant Birth would be all his.
Back at home for a couple of days, the search for a reliable local Pregnancy test was the priority. The online information would not click forward unless the 'I have consulted a Doctor' check Box had been clicked and the whole thing was getting tiresome. A visit to the Pharmacy was there for the Afternoon.
'Hello.' Said the person behind the Counter. 'We have what you requested online, could I make an appointment for our Doctor for the Morning?'
'I wasn't planning to do anything overly Medical.' Said Cassy, but the Woman was not giving off an oppressive demeanor and was presenting in a friendly sort of a way. 'Yes, you have a phone number?'
Ten in the morning came around fairly quickly and the wait in Reception was not overly long, the Doctor sat and had asked fairly normal questions so far. 'Have you thought about saving the Embryo 'til later, when you've more time?'
Talk about a new, modern approach to Medicine. 'A fairly straightforward procedure you could do in an Hour?'
'Yes, would you consider this?'
She didn't even have a confirmation of Pregnancy, this new arrangement was a tremendous weight off her mind. Another appointment was there in another few days and the work schedule that appeared on the Flight Agency Application would be no trouble at all to fulfil. She decided to step up the amount of time to devote to her second Job, only a great future could be envisaged as she made arrangements for a couple of hours at the indoor shooting range.
A text message came in, 'Research People Smuggling' using a lot more words over eMail as well. A bit abrupt, but their were Rumours a Boat used as a large pleasure Cruiser was about to be repurposed for bringing in the undocumented straight from Africa and the Far East making huge profits for people intent on increasing the Drug supply while overwhelming vital systems, like the education system. The Navy has to have this with the budget they have; she wouldn't be needed.
The Phone rang, it was the Spy Mistress, 'How do you feel about Nursing?' She asked.
'Not overly keen, not that interested in Medical things; my Biology grade was not that good if you notice'
'The guy you met making that delivery is in Hospital with fairly serious wounds, you can go in as a patient or a Nurse.' The reply came in fairly fast.
'I have my own Thermometer, is this for today?' Cassy was now making herself available.
'Yes, I'll clear what you have. I'm sending tickets.' Cassy was out of the Door and into a Taxi in fifty minutes.
The Uniform fitted well and the Man had various Tubes attached to his Unconscious form in a side room to a side ward that had an armed security Man at the only entrance and he was permanently stationed for the duration.
The unconscious man became a Conscious man, 'Hello.' Said Cassy. 'Could I interest you in something to eat?'
'Pffuff.' He uttered, 'not especially. Just remember' he continued, 'it's not important how they've hurt you, but whether or not you've killed them.'
'You are so wise, I only wish I could have had you as a Tutor. We have some Watermelon?'
'I'll see a Doctor if you don't mind, if there is one.'
'One thing this place is not short of and that's Doctors, I'll get moving in a minute as soon as I'm certain about a lack of Gunmen.'
'Fair enough.' He said, 'I owe you one, could I sit up a little more?'
'Obedience? Is this your total requirement?'
'A slightly better disposition.' He corrected. Cassy made him more comfortable, checked his drip and poured a Glass of Water leaving it within his reach before moving to the Door. The equipment was monitored at the station and she expected a Doctor or two at any moment while the Man lay in Bed with closed Eyes.
