Using and continuing to use Computers the terminals they are attached to and the peripherals within parameters and properly is the end to a means, an end to an end and of course the end justifying the means.
War in the modern era is different. Chances of escalation have to be curtailed as the ever prevalent threat of Nuclear Annihilation is something any sane person might want to avoid. To use an analogy, this is like allowing small fires in dry, wooded areas.
A cynical Money printing entity that cares little for the people encountered and actively disadvantages those it can in the most unfair ways possible might be a not too unknown definition. The young and inexperienced can easily be convinced of the possibilities offered by a centralized authority, while anyone over the age of 50 will quite readily and openly tell you that the functioning, working State apparatus is worse than useless and dealing with the vacuous entity is a pointless waste of time that will likely lead nowhere.
Only when faced with possible life threatening situations will this organisation be prompted to take action. Wild irrelevance punctuated by meaningless garbage is the criticism often levelled at State authorities and with easy to see justifications. The often tested ability to carry out basic competencies is forever pushed forward as undeniable truth of the value of their own existence with grandiose claims over property, Money print and value pushed to the top of any agenda that might like to discuss the real issues and problems in the world.
Cars, Motorways, Computers. A more potent recipe for disaster and then continuous disaster I feel might be difficult to come across. What's wrong with Cars on a Road, Pedestrians on a pavement and Freight via Freightlines? Answers might be accepted on the back of a PostCard addressed to someone else.
Anyone or any entity seeking or liking to do anything will encounter opposition. This might include walking on a Pavement for some, eating or drinking or providing these for others to enjoy. Ideas of Empire are an old fascination. Old, not as in early Hollywood, but as in Ancient Rome and Greece. Traders deflect from these ideas, making the valid point that the supply is nowhere near high enough to support these actions or these ideas of actions.
What to do then? Well, Empire is not worth anything. The idea is not worth the pursuit and the results make for less than an optimistic outlook. The whole thing is a worthless, valueless depression. Ideas of Empire lead to no advantage for anyone, nothing is to be gained entertaining these courses of action.
Forget it, don't be lured. Excitement and adventure? Possible death and irreparable injury more like.
Everyone in the whole world is under a serious misaprehension. Victims of Mass Hypnotic effect, they are prone to making the wrong decisions; decisions that may well be only to the advantage of a 'Musician' or 'Composer'.
