This is 4 Interviews in one, marked up as 'Interview intercepted from Publishers', 'Interview intercept 2', 'Interview 3' and 'Fourth Interview'.
-- You are writing a new work?

-- What is it called, is there a working title, just a string of ideas; please tell me.
I have decided to write a work of serious fiction, as in seriously Fictional and very readable for Children and the occasional Adult and this is called the 'Romantic Goblin'.
What's different about this one is the format I will be passing it to the Editor and then Publisher in. I have decided to turn the whole of what I have so far into ASCII 8-bit code and then flash it on LED's to interested parties out of my back window.
The other set of Notes are remaining just that at the moment, with no working title or perfunctory Heading and very little idea about what someone interested in trying to eek out a living investigating the very obvious for a liveable profit. I have not got at all far with this one.
-- I happen to know some people might be interested in what you have written. I passed my Computer A level, explain to me what ASCII code is and I will find out how it is interested parties have enough time to decipher this and enough resources to monitor your back window all day and all night.
Hmm, I let CHAT_GPT and Bing compose engine write the code in Micropython / Python or Arduino sketch and put this onto a Microcontroller and then strung some bright LED's to the pins and I was good to go. It's all very interesting and this new future of Computer Tech and information systems is something I am determined to do my best to add a meaningful contribution to. The response I got to experimenting with Morse Code that was obviously picked up by someone even though it was in my front room and not intentionally broadcast to anyone; as far as I am concerned I got more reaction to this than my first 4 Harry Potter books.

That is true, I was. It's in my notes, but it's not adding up to much and as a stand-alone piece of writing it is not much, going nowhere and I am out of ideas for this.

The 'Shout at me because you are Drunk' issue has subsided a little bit, making way for a more pleasing aspect to life and living and as such I have more time and energy for the written word and of course I am just a sucker who's occasionally keen to make others happy. Just think, if I make a local collection of influential people happy enough I might write to the Tax Office and inform them I am making a small profit and demand to pay my share of the National Debt in the nationally accepted Currency; which by the way is not Hard Drugs and a filthy den in which to be intoxicated.

ASCII code is great for a Computer to understand and something the Computer understands is something I am in favour of, I thought I did answer your question and if it doesn't provide a confirmation notice of message received in full after a set period of time, say an week and a half I'll reconsider and address the writing before looking at the most appropriate format. To be honest with you though don't hold your breath, it's not going to be a tremendous amount for release and the writers block has been really, really bad with no ideas making for a good flow of Literate output anyone might be interested in.
Well, I type faster and faster each and every day and then the number of mistakes multiply to compensate with the frustration element equalling a multiplication factor of significant elements of these. I use Network Attached Storage to store any raw files, these are sorted and either written straight to Javascript or sCopied to somewhere for addition and editing. Letters and eMails usually follow the same path unless I'm surprised by the subject matter in which case I might have to deal in a surprised sort of a way. My Printer is currently bust and I'm saving up for a new one.
To get back to your question I might need a bit of a prompt as to why all this Technology is there?

Yes. I have just got into Microcontrollers and I can assure the prospective Publisher and the eventual owners of the large amount of writing that I am working on Encrypting all I write in the form of Film Scripts, Television presentations and everything that I bash out at the Keyboard or store in a picture format using Quill pens and Biros using specialist Software and Hardware to make it impossible for the word arrangements to get unauthorised pre-release.
-- Microcontrollers?
My Raspberry Pi 4B is the workhorse of my Home Computer Network, serving as Network Storage and a File encryptor, a Pi5 counts as the latest expenditure making the current setup complete, or perhaps more romantically replete. The addition of Microcontrollers gives me a better understanding of the coding going on and they do make a pretty display when idle. Automated tasks are there and all this makes my life of hacking away at the Glorified Typewriter a lot easier and more efficient. I have seldom been happier.
-- SBC's?
I have the Pi 4 and 5, then with the Pi Zero WH giving me a couple of Cameras for the storage, a standard Camera and then a Wide Angle that has come in useful to get large Documents onto file rather than taking up space where the Blank Paper is topped up and then used. I can Draw, Paint and write on a large Canvas and not worry. I rarely need to look for anything in Backup as all my stuff is forward all the time with occasional pressures for releasing something, but the 2 TB. of storage has just pushed 2% full. If I start on with Videos I'll look for more, but I am not doing anything like this without a Camera person and they might be into the editing here as well, so I guess it's just going to be the writing.
The Raspbi zero has to be the most fun for me, if everything else is not on the temporary Network store the small comp. is just there. Fantastic, handy and well worth a nice little extra switch. The Pi 5 I haven't overclocked or spent much time on programming, but it's very very useful and there for portability if needed.
Mobile wise I just use a Chromebook for the Train and a Samsung Tablet for the Coffee shop, both with Bluetooth keyboards and a Wi-Fi brick if I can't get the free Net access. Not much point uploading anything from the Mobile outings, the proofread and Edit is a sit-down-and-concentrate exercise with everything I've saved during the write. Great for reference though the Mobile Internet.

To expand on the world of Media, Publishing and Film etc. I don't think I have much of an opinion on any of it. As a writer I can put anything like that into things I write or put something on a website or even Publish something like this on Twitter or Instagram. I love Wordpress, but I really can't find much of a use for it with everything else I have going.

Computers first.
-- O.K. What is your main Computer?
I have 2. The GK Mini has a Celeron Gemini lake processor that says it's over 2 GHz. and will run 2 monitors very easily and does everything really well although it can be fairly slow. The Lenovo is nearly 7 years old now and has an AMD A9 processor, I have had to replace the CMOS battery. Not much of an achievement in Computing, but it's all mine. I could not do without this machine, no way could I get used to anything less than the 3.2 Ghz. it claims. The HDMI on the board failed, but the GPU slotted in nicely out of the case and works well. I will forward a Photo for you.
Windows 11 runs great on the GK Mini and I did have Manjaro running as well, but I managed to delete the Grub part or something or other and I have had to give up on the Dual Boot on this machine and it now just runs the Microsoft OS with updates taking much less time than they used to.
The Lenovo is the one I use most. I'm not afraid of using it for hours and hours or leaving it on overnight and plugging then unplugging. Any Linux distribution would have been alright, but Fedora won out because it is so secure. I don't need much of a Desktop with it usually, just a Window Manager I can locate and add to files with over the Home Network. Left alone it will Boot to Windows 10 and I've made this look great as a Desktop and I'm hoping to use VS Code much more with this arrangement so as to use the Microcontrollers more efficiently and of course they run straight off and connect first time to Windows 10.
I can get ideas down really fast these days with the Linux OS. Stored on the Network they are easily accessible and fairly easy to find. Neovim is my main editor with Nano there for when I forget the keystrokes to do things. I can't forever relearn things I forget, typing out the ideas and words is the main thing.
I am terrible with Screens. The Blue background and White Font that runs on the Linux enabled Chromebook won't display legible colours for something like Htop, but the only thing I might need this for is tippety-typing, so it's going to stay like that. Green Font on Black is the Konsole arrangement on the Lenovo and this does give off good colours when I run Neovim.

I know, but a new thing leads to a new thing to a new learn to a complete replacement of the arrangement I currently use. I can't be bothered, the writing I put out seems to be reaching an audience who would like more and I'm happy to give it to them.

I pay a lot for keeping current. Besides this I have a great Chromecast that plays YouTube really well. Online content I can read and don't find any advantage in owning Books made of Paper. I attempt to keep TV as a time consuming pasttime, but often it does turn into too much like hard work. When all this 'hard work' occurs when I'm sat down trying to view output, I just put some recorded Football on and jump on a Computer.

American or Aussie rules, Soccer is a no-go and not really watchable to me. Those people don't use Arms you know.
-- What might be Current?
Scheduling and Programming on the Terrestrial channels, Satelite services I find interesting all on its' own. I might need a fairly hefty reason to watch anything past the opening titles when broadcast; I record and watch later without the Ads. Music I cannot do without and this with a Video to go with the changing Tempo and changing notes is something I don't intend to stop paying for.
-- OK, what about the film WarGames?
I don't know hardly anything about the subject covered in the Film and wouldn't attempt to write over what's presented, but I can relate to it a little bit. I had to use a specific Baud rate for some device or other, think it was 4800, 2400 or 4/6oo, but it jumped back to 9600 or the highest it could do and the whole thing went South after 2 and a half hours at the most. No idea what the programmers had decided about things, but the Film clearly had the Baud rate well pegged at reading for monitoring speed and it looked good. I can assure you none of this was written by me; any of it cannot be traced back to me in any way.
-- Ok, ok. It's about the Defense capability of the US and allies?
I would shrug if it were possible in written English, Russia and its surrounding States were called the USSR and this fitted ok with US Foreign Policy, Military thinking and World peace. If people knew about the Pot shots taken they might be more frightened or more dismissive; either way you would not have been believed at the time.
I'll offer you a rewrite about my first interlope. The Baud rate kept jumping to the optimal, fastest speed and then after a restart I couldn't get back in to adjust the initial Baud rate and there everyone was.

What a question, I am tempted to ask for your credentials and proof of genuine interest. Given a good base for Private tuition I might have a chance in the Education sector, but as it stands there is no way. The whole thing could be divided into hopelessly outdated, staid and boring Academia and Educationalism run riot. The institutions are only interested in Funding and this means securing what's available and applying for something new. No way might the English Lit. study claim to be anything new and those interested in the Beauty, Romance, Passion and so on are few in number and an intake at University is not going to be possible in the numbers required to include me.
Given a desk away from the World in an Institution where I might write for others, the main texts I would have are those for marking and comment and creative writing is what I might prefer to spend my time on.

No, that's correct. The Well has run dry and the Geologists have determined that it is unlikely anyone will be drawing Water from it any time soon. A School desking system might make the whole thing worse as well.

I have loads of notes on stuff I could write about, but nothing that's really caught my imagination or that of anyone who might be interested in commissioning a piece. Twitter is great for me and I have put suggestions forward for bits and bats that appear on YouTube. The world of Tech. is all absorbing and if I am in a Rabbit Hole it does not feel like it and I'm just going to continue writing what I want, when I want.

People sat at Computer terminals is not going to make for much of a read and will make for an even less appealing Film script. Unless the Computer creates a different environment or something like that it's a bit of a dead end and I wouldn't want to rewrite Tron or some fanciful Law enforcement fantasy.

All this is really difficult. The idea of a first World Nation State taking up the mantle of Empirical Authority is just completely stupid in the considered opinion of most with any say in the matter and that might include me. Their's a Media Empire and an International trading agreement, but ploughing Tonnes of Relief into Desert regions and discovering the problems with this policy a few years later is an exercise in Naivety.
We know the Metal we supplied for use in the Water system was ripped out to make weapons. Arguments about stuff like this have to rely on a denial of Facts; a solution to it all though, I have no idea. I live in England and the income from all the tippety tappety keeps me away from any Front line that might exist and if this continues I might not need an opinion, but will only have to keep track of the Tax situation the Government demands.

To an extent writing publicizes itself, but after a while you have to pay for more people to buy your product, or the Print offered by the Publisher.

If you had not noticed the Temperatures in Winter are not ignorable wherever you are in the World and if I were to buy a large place to live the Bills on heating would be difficult given any amount of income and I have been known to start at 4 am and go until 9 and no way could I do this in Scarf and Cardigan. I'll pay someone else thank you very much.

Go get me the keys to Buckingham Palace and I will move in tomorrow. Other than that I would have to become a qualified Heating Engineer because the call out charges would wipe me out every time. If I could call an end to this line I would like to point out that the Literacy quotient has at least been maintained through efforts like this and that is worth quite a bit although not much in a monetary sense.

I have been looking at that show and it all seems very good. When you look online, the Bazinga episodes on YouTube gives some good coverage, but with the replays on the Terrestrial channels and Cable the whole thing looks pretty overexposed. Perhaps this is not as good an idea as you might think.

I think, or I'll rephrase, I have thought previously about how dull and depressing these sanctimonious and self righteous campaigning Government Agents can appear to be onscreen. Looking at conflicts that then get National, therefore Government approval and sponsorship only death and injury are there as result or consequence. I'm not going to write or be involved in a project like this.

Death and injury will happen before any Money usually and this is a certainty in the fictional scenario you are outlining. You can take this as a no,then.

I have no ideas for a long book so I'm not going to write a book, some Magazine Articles could be in the offing, but ........

Fact is that their's so much conflict and misery in the world I, like quite a few others are just trying to make the best of things and make a better life away from a perpetual vote for War among the Masses. I hope I've expressed myself in such a way that you won't ask another question on this?

The Government decides where the Money goes and this applies to 100% of it. If I were offered a private deal the duration would not last long and like I said before you have to pay more and more for continued sales in terms of advertising, product launch, support and Publicity so the profit is just swallowed by the Budget. If people are enjoying things, what reason would anyone have to stop it all?

'Fraid not. Fact is the real practitioners of Magic and some in the religious community don't like it and enough of them feel strongly enough to prevent a continuous run of this output as long as Television is available and broadcasting.

What are you intent on paying for, a real-life portrayal by Actors, a cartoon series, Films of books, Books of Films; what? The thing is going to have to stand alone as a finished work and that's it.

Write other episodes to go between the existing ones, even given all the people who appeared might be available or could be drawn in, I don't think I could get over the writers block with this. Nice idea though, perhaps a team of writers might do it. Teams of writers would demand a higher pay rate though.

R. Galbraith wrote those and he has a Penis, quite a large one from what I understand. I am not going to be taking on other people's work.

Ok, I could think about suggestions made and some things I could come up with here, but the fact is I could write away and the Film never gets made. I don't have the Stomach for writing a book it would have to be a Film script and this would be the equivalent to writing a multi million dollar cheque. No way, can't be done, no-one is going to put any Money behind this torn off cheque stub. Not going to happen.
