I will start off with a couple of questions and Answers that might make this concept sit a little better in the minds of some people.
Did MK Ultra ever exist?
Answer - No.
What was it then that had the label MK Ultra attached to it by the US Military?
Answer - Threat dissipation tactic.
The fact is the amount of practical approaches that could be taken to waging War by societies built on Science and Scientific discovery and implementation would be overwhelming to any potential enemy Army, but enemy armies were pretty much bereft of ethical values at the time and the use of Child Soldiers and Suicide Bombers would be considered winning tactics and very useful strategy rather than anything else.
Front-line soldiers drugged up to the Eyeballs and then sent forward into battle might be a newish concept to some, but 'Berserkers' have been known about and defeated for a very long time by modern, advanced Armies. The possibility an average G.I. Joe might have had MK Ultra training could be just enough impetus for a reconsideration of position by an adversary.
Things like cranial implants, L.S.D. use, hypnosis and so on are clearly within the realm (under the view) of a Hospital psychiatric department.
State Power is considerable. That is not that it should always be considered or can be looked at and examined, but State Power can affect you and those you might know in very direct ways. Dismissing or stating State actions as the work of some dubious branch of a long defunct service might prove useful to some writers, either writing for Public consumption or State records.
State as Religion then? Yes, just that.
Not surprisingly some never get to the stage of defining the difference between Church and State and get very used to the power wielded in the name of stable government and public order. Anyone having seen or experienced the negative, derogatory and deleterious effects of State actions might hope to look to religion rather than hang on to the coat tails of some campaigning, crusading uncultured bigot imposing his will while citing his own interpretation of state regulation.
The reasoning behind settlements, population growth and expansion, education and so on is clearly always because of private enterprise, initiative and co-operation. The notion that some great King might have ordered transport and supply to a predetermined area on a Map is clearly an ignorable falsehood of little or no importance to anyone listening or coming into contact with this extraneous information.
Some thought the tactic of planting doubt in the ranks of some insurgent force or a terrorist organisation was proving a good strategy, but this was not going to prove to be the case. Any Armourer making and pushing forward weaponery finding this was not in use, but getting stored up will not immediately stop activities but realize the frontlines are not doing what they are supposed to and start on a different way forward in the warring.
With any rioting mob or insurgent force we can find reasons for this type of behaviour. No sensible person would discount 'proper and reasonable grievance', but other reasons are possible. Glitches in commodity supply coupled with a sudden uptake of gossip will find groups gathering and knowledge or presence of weapons will make some nervous and others more confident in pushing forward with hostility.
Terrorist and violent actions are different to an insurgency. Someone or a small group have organized deliberately to build an army, small at first, to take on a bigger force viewed as hostile ( and given where we are, a worthy adversary ). Communications here have broken down completely with the only lines of argument intended to buy time for terrible atrocity.
Information swamp, blast is used to disable and overwhelm to ensure maximum damage and claim of victorious action. Any attachment of a religious aim is there as part of co-ordinated misinformation.
Given all these important, well written and ordered sentences it might not be too much of a surprise that the argument for an organization that could support MK Ultra is a strong one and is widely held across the political divides. It's a pity that it does not exist, but after all nobody wants a Nuclear holocaust.
I will go through some arguments about some of this. First off FITNESS.
Fitness has 5 components, the 5 S's - Strength, Stamina, Speed, Skill, Suppleness. A minimum requirement is there for anything you might like to do in life, but standards might be higher for some jobs.
Prerequisite for something like MKUltra would be Mental acumen/agility/capability/resource etc.
People do not like exercise and staying in shape. Facts are that your BMI matters and matters a lot more when illness becomes a factor in life. This then will make self-discipline another priority for anyone taking up a position like this.
Fit people are less prone to disease, suffer less when a disease catches and recover quicker as well. Higher fitness levels are linked to better lifestyle outcomes, health and wellbeing. Delivering and maintaining outcomes like this could be one way authorities can claim to have paid those involved.
Get Fit, Be Fit, Stay Fit. - A good Mantra and decider for how to live a life.
I am going to continue with some sidetracking, but might ask you hold the thought about health and fitness in your mind because I am going to use my analogy as well to make my (or the) main point. Another thing you might care to hold in your mind is what there might be come out of your Nuclear Bunker for as you have survived the Nuclear Holocaust so far.
Given that you have lived through some Nuclear event, looking around for continued healthy living your attention could well settle on the number of State dumped problem cases that come repeatedly into view. As, clearly, no State ( valid authority ) no longer exists what the hell are you, or anyone, supposed to do with them? I can tell you now, Firewood has been suggested.
Survivalism gets a bad wrap. For you to have lived while someone else has died and others are seriously ill is way too much for some. People have been known to crack very easily here with over-reaction and severe behavioural problems shown then highlighted. Why did we do all that training? It's there.
The main argument against such an organisation comes from the people who might be in it or advantaged by it. - Put all of them in the same Boat and then sink it. - There we are, my analogy.
Of course floatables are not easily sunk, but each and every move made to bolster your concoction just plays into the hands of the opposition. Time taken doing this is time not spent ensuring science and progress.
Nutrition is a big part of life and some lines in food are not allowable here. Recreational Drug use is something else that will see you drummed out.
Continuing with the nuclear bunker theme, the weapons you may have carried around to ensure survival and that held such value and hope a short time ago are now worthless bits of too heavy-to-carry Metal not worth anything any more. Just discard of them safely and carry around a Geiger counter instead. That's the best policy and the one advised by all. Authority of the Church Minister might not have been such a bad introduction to life after all.
Tempted to indulge in a game of Top Trumps with your new friends? I have to tell you that you may have been a genuine survivor, but some of your new found buddy buddies might be Homicidal, Genocidal Psychotic killers at the moment between episodes of Mania.
All this seems to add up to an argument for War, and it probably does and will do, but here we have our fabulous new word 'Caveats'.
Governments vote for and put forward reasons for others having less access to resources ( equipment, currency, manpower, storage, accommodations and so on ). Get enough people on your side and you can deny your adversary ability to continue. This is ages old War tactics, the enemy is trying to cut off or limit your supply line. You felt the supply requirement is not excessive and the supply line not overextended, but you're clearly not doing that well any more. Pushing for more is then going to start leading towards War.
Solutions? Their might be 2. Sit down and talk with predetermination to come to agreement or establish a new front line and send armaments to it. If you like sitting in a Mud Bath in Northern France heaven awaits.
End then here. Anything more I might like to add will be in another piece of writing that might be more of a comment on Armies, Militarism and conflict/s.
