Science and Progress

Introduction

Perhaps 'Progressive Science' might deserve its' own placeholder for some future writing, I'm not going to be examining this subject much here.

I'll set out some thoughts and opinions here and you can make your own judgement about things noted. Looking at each subject I've written to clarify my own understanding as well as to impress on others an opinion. Military Science won't be included as this is just accumulated Strategies, Tactics and Social assessments; none of it really standing up to serious analysis. I'm not expecting this to be a long written piece, but the second page about Cosmology is an ever expanding side project.

There is Science and then there is progress. How might any progression be measured? A single unaltered standpoint has to be assumed and then a quantifiable judgement formed. Of course once the Mathematics has been applied all the 'Progress' will have to be relayed to others using language, Universal or otherwise.

Theoretics ( Physics )

Multiverses, Time manipulation, Big Bang, Matter and Light

I've already written that the original theory that any two states of existence will be affected by the introduction of a third and so we can come up with Dimension is equal to Time.Forces.

As in the Space in which we exist equates to the forward path of time multiplied by the Forces that are acting within it is something worth following by way of integrated, complete theory.

Life on other Planets? No, not at the moment. Given the whole timespan of the entirety of existence, possibly 8 instances of intelligent life are possible and we as Humans are one of them.

If we were to take the possibility of creatures that drink Ammonia, Breathe Nitrogen or some such the chances of Intelligent contact with these by ourselves remain next to zero.

Multiverses? Unlikely, more than very unlikely beyond the realm of SciFi. Nice postulates though and a good adventure in imaginative free thought.

Matter and Energy are interchangeable through the medium of Light? Certainly does and is proven every millisecond of every day much to our advantage.

The original is always good to look at and reinterpret.

Fractal Geometry is there just as defined by the title, image projection should and does require a medium to register to our senses after all.

Big Bang Theory.

The whole of reality has been sucked into a massively bloated Gravity Hole which becomes unstable and then explodes? Yes, this is there; but won't happen again for some very considerable time and from what is understood has only happened twice before anyway.

Science as a whole is encompassed by Physics, but by that Philosophy encompasses Physics in totality. Philosophy has and remains my main interest and of course the expression of this through written text.

Engineering

The world of Engineering fascinates myself and many others. Structure, balance and design are represented everywhere you can take a vantage point and the Maths that explain it all make for some interesting reading.

Of course Engineering gone or done wrong will always collect the Publicity, not surprising given the number of lives at stake.

Building a cohesive, cogent and then coherent picture of the world through academic study might take some time and one might have to choose which subject you might like to place at the top of a Pyramid of learning model. For me, Philosophical thought and analysis explains any and everything and I don't think I can be budged from this point of view.

Chemistry

Chemical reactions make up new compounds in the World which we can then use to our advantage and of course there's the possibility to use the mixings and meticulous calculations to hinder others. Was I or you responsible for the War? we'll find out at some point I suppose if we don't die horribly first.

The choice of career here is that of working for a Chemical company or starting one yourself and exchanging what you supply for the accepted currency.

Sociology

Is this even a Science? the would be purveyors of this study are asked by everyone else. Fact is this seems to be a jostling for position by the proponent in the Social aspect to life in the World. Once making acquaintance with the likely Tutor a clear step up the Social ladder is perceived. Impossible to paint yourself out of the Picture once these steps have been taken.

Social Study might qualify for a grade measurement all of its' own. Societal structure is there to define your place within it or place the Media output you create. History or Current affairs would be better.

The Biological Explanation

Anyone taking up Biology because this is a subject they like and are determined to carry on with throughout a lifetime will undoubtedly be suited to become a paid Medical Professional. When, a few years down the line, they feel prematurely old and sick the long touted Mantra, 'Physician heal thyself' constantly plagues the hearing and prevents movement. Perhaps they might consider the Anatomy study should have been followed as way to keep fit rather than an excuse to mess about with the metabolism of others.

We could believe a turning point or defining change was brought about that addresses the question as to whether Medicine is a Science was reached when people started asking why the Progeny they had striven for in the World needed Calipers to fit correctly into predefined or a prearranged Social structure.

As a definition, Medicine might count not as a Science, but more like a quite severe Political effort. Given that's at least a truism, what is in it for the average Medical Practitioner? then. Certainly living in the World of endless Medicalizations and witnessing what used to be termed as corpse defilement or looking at the internal workings of an endless supply of Human volunteers or victims might make you not think about what the Head Surgeon has in mind for you or his less edifying friend who evades a Murder charge month on month by adding to his victim supply through the use of Social discourse, abusing the written word on an hourly basis.

Maybe it's possible to not admit to Professional Medicalism, but give out your profession as a student of Life Sciences.

Psychology

How we might perceive, react and relate to reality / ies has a name and there it is listed as a Scientific subject there for research and notation. Part of this is of course Intelligence Quotient. When you've learned of this you have to know about the Bell curve in Mathematical Graph plotting and it's not long before you have to study other things. I think we might safely place this and other Psychometric testing in the Educational sphere and possibly leave it there.

Mathematics

This subject is Man made. A Human construct invented and then updated by a succession of people as a way to understand and explain the World, reality and beyond. It's been postulated all this is there just to bring human weakness and falibility into view and then rationalize the same.

Whatever the true nature it's yet to be clearly defined in Words, but is a necessity to understand the subject covered by the next heading.

The Main Subject

Computers are great and make a significance daily in the World, but there is much duplication which can be justified if a learning experience is there for the proving, but so much else of the Data manipulated and stored are there as 'Dust Maps'.

The fantastic simplicity that makes for a start along learning about Computers that makes up the subject of Computer Science whirls into a maelstrom of complexity just a couple or few logical steps later and then of course these have to be subjected to the individual, falible human memory to be of any use.
